Reservations are needed for trivia with Bruce!
A couple of miles from the Atlantic, at the confluence of the St. Sebastian River and the Indian River, trivia lovers have been frequenting their favorite bar-b-q spot, Woody's, every Tuesday night! The host Bruce, who has a familial relationship with the long-time players, jokes and entertains them all each week.
The generally over-55 crowd is challenged by appropriate questions, and some older music curated for the demographic by Catch The Mania! Want to stop in on a Tuesday evening for some fun? Better make a reservation, as all seats are quickly spoken for at Woody's popular trivia. It's been so busy, in fact, that the "trivia area" has expanded through the bar and to many high-tops into the restaurant section.
Owner Kathy Birt gave us a few minutes of her time to speak about the evolution of the night...the same host and original server from when trivia started in 2015? Amazing! Check out trivia at Woody's every Tuesday, starting at 6 pm!

Cody of Yarbrough Entertainment develops a great following for trivia in Wichita Falls
Cody Yarbrough, running trivia night for the second month at a local hangout, arrives and sets up inside tonight as it's one of those cold Texas nights. The sleet that starts to pelt the roof an hour later confirms that the outdoor patio would have been a bit harsh for tonight's trivia crowd. The High Dive is running a trivia competition of sorts, where team scores are added each week, with an overall, cumulative winner. Monster Energy drink prizes cover a table, and the regular teams spill in. Cody is getting busier and busier with Yarbrough Entertainment, branching out and running trivia and karaoke on other nights. Filling these slower nights with steady gigs are a recipe for a winning plate - Cody wins, with extra work, the bar wins with more patrons on a slower night, and those patrons love a night to get together with friends.
Update: Cody now has several trivia offerings in Wichita Falls!
